Tucson Tea Party – April 30, 2011
AZFT participated in the April 30 rally hosted by the Tucson Tea Party.
It is estimated that they had upwards of 2,300 attendees at this excellent
event.
Many thanks to Community Coordinator, Kristi Zitkus,
and all the amazing Tucson volunteers for turning this into one of our most
successful events yet. The efforts to educate people about the FairTax
are paying off, and we are now able to spend less time explaining the
FairTax and more time motivating people to take action. As a result,
we got
a good start on our petition drive to add 4 new Arizona FairTax co-sponsors
by year-end.
Tucson Tea Party – October 9, 2010
Thousands of tea partiers turned out at Tucson's Hi Corbett Field yesterday to learn about the candidates in next month's election. And AZFT District 8 volunteers were there to greet them. We handed out literature, educated voters and gathered hundreds of signatures on a petition to stop the deceptive Fair Tax attack ads currently being run by incumbent, Gabrielle Giffords.

Tucson Tea Party – April 15, 2010
Although
no figures are available for the total attendance at the Tucson rally,
as many as 3,000 attendees packed Presidio Park at the peak of the event.
The Tucson FairTax chapter had a great turn-out with volunteers (left–right)
Steve Scoggin, Charlene Westgate, Shelby Hawkins (not shown) and Kristi
Zitkus spearheading the efforts.
