Feet to the Fire – April 15, 2011

Feet to the Fire Rally 4/15/11AZFT volunteers attended the Feet to the Fire event hosted by Americans for Prosperity and the Phoenix Tea Party. With 500 in attendance, we had the opportunity to educate people, and to arm them with literature to spread the word to friends and neighbors. We also had the opportunity to hold Arizona's congressional representatives feet to the fire about theire support of the FairTax by asking attendees to sign a petition to their representative, thanking them for thier support (Flake and Franks) or to become a co-sponsor of HR 25.

Gilbert Tea Party – April 15, 2010

Gilbert Tea Party 4/15/10AZFT volunteers, headed by James and Judy Volin (pictured at left), spread the word about the FairTax at the Tax Day Tea Party at Gilbert's Freestone Park, distributing 100's of pocket cards and bumper sticks to attendees. According to AzCentral.com between 2,500–3,000 people attended the Gilbert Rally.

Phoenix Tea Party – April 15, 2010

Phoenix Tea Party 4/15/10Upwards of 6,000 people attended the rally at Tempe's Diablo Stadium. Thanks to volunteers (left–right) Judy and Nelson Fink, Steve Scoggin (not shown) and Charlene Westgate, we not only educated hundreds of people, but we were also able to speak with most of the candidates in districts 3, 5 and 6—and, we found 2 candidates who pledged to co-sponsor the FairTax if elected. Check out the scorecard to discover who they are!
